Face recognition is happening in your photos, making it really easy to find pictures of one of your friends or family.
To tag the person’s name to the photos, find a photo with that person in it by themselves, if you can, open the photo and then swipe up. Their picture should show in a section below called people. Click on the thumbnail image and it will open the group of photos it has already identified for that face. Up the top in the heading line it will say ‘Add name’, click on it and type their name and return on your keyboard.
Want to see the people you have identified and their photos, go to the album option in Photos (bottom right) and you will have a People album. It also means you can search for that person’s name in the photo search.
