Another way to move your cursor around in a text (thanks to Paul for this one). On an iPhone on the keyboard press down on a letter hard to invoke the 3D Touch (only on iPhone 6s and above). On an iPad keyboard where you don’t have 3D Touch then press with 2 fingers (they don’t have to be hard). In both cases you’ll see the keyboard look like the keyboard in the image and then you just move your finger around to move the cursor.
