Trying to catch the exact moment when something happens then use burst mode on the iPhone camera by pressing the camera button and holding it down but don’t lift your finger off while you want shots. Great for kids sports or, for a wave painting addict like me, to capture the wave breaking. They show as one photo in the Photo area but say burst and the number of images taken near the top. When you review in photos and you are looking at a burst photo group, you will have a new option down the bottom ‘Select…’. Choose it and then you’ll see all the photos taken and you can choose which one or more you want to keep. Then press Done. It will ask you if you want to keep all (which means the original burst group is still there in photos plus the ones you’ve selected separated out) or just the ones you selected.
